Call for Tutorials

QSIC 2012 invites submissions for tutorial proposals on any topics relating to managing, developing, verifying and validating software and software systems.

Tutorial proposals must clearly identify the following information:

  • A title of the tutorial
  • Learning objectives of the tutorial and why the tutorial is interesting to the QSIC participants
  • Intended audience and its assumed background
  • The scope of the tutorial and the depth within the scope
  • A proposed list of topics covered in the tutorials
  • The proposed method(s) of conducting the tutorial
  • The proposed teaching materials that would be distributed to the participants
  • The contact information (name, email address, telephone number, and FAX number) and a brief biography of the presenters

Proposals should be submitted via email to Antony Tang (atang@swin.edu.au) and Henry Muccini (henry.muccini@di.univaq.it).

Important dates

The submission deadline is 16th Jan, 2012. Notifications will be made by 15th Feb, 2012. All tutorial materials must be available for review and printing by 31st May 2012.

If a tutorial proposal is accepted, the presenters are invited to submit a short (research or industry/experience) paper to summarize the teaching(s) of the tutorial. Subject to peer reviews, the short paper would be published as part of the conference proceedings.
